Nestled in the heart of Bangalore, HM Traders is deeply rooted in the coffee-growing legacy of Chikkamagaluru – the cradle of Indian coffee. For generations, this region’s cool climate, fertile soil, and monsoon-kissed hills have produced Arabica and Robusta beans renowned for their smooth complexity, bold aroma, and unmatched depth of flavor.

OUR STORY

Born in the shadow of Chikkamagaluru’s coffee estates, HM Traders began with a simple mission: to honor the farmers who craft excellence bean by bean.

We work directly with small-scale farmers across the region, many of whom have nurtured coffee plants for decades. By cutting out middlemen, we ensure fair prices, transparent partnerships, and sustainable practices that protect both livelihoods and land. Every bean we source carries the story of these farmers’ dedication – a story we’re proud to share with the world.

Chikkamagaluru’s terroir is unmatched. Our beans thrive under shade-grown canopies, absorbing notes of monsoon rain, volcanic soil, and tropical flora. We specialize in:

Arabica: Bright acidity, floral undertones, and hints of jasmine.

Robusta: Bold, earthy richness with a creamy chocolate finish.

Handpicked Harvesting: Only ripe cherries are selected.

Sun-Dried Perfection: Beans are dried naturally under the Karnataka sun.
